A glimpse of the fortified evangelical-lutheran church of Moșna (Meschen in German, Muzsna in Hungarian), built in the Gothic style around the year 1485 and fortified in 1520.

The founding Germans have completely vanished from the village… but it appears that the storks still come to nest on the poles at the edge of the road during the warm season – a picturesque image that reminds me of my childhood on the banks of the Danube.
