Yesterday, I was in training for work all day long. And it was not as bad as I expected. We have to do this training every single year in the first couple months of the year, and it is 10 hours long. It is the same stuff every year, and we have to do it because of government regulations. But it wasn’t bad this year!

I challenged myself to fill a mini pocket notebook with notes from the classes, even though I’ve heard the material many times. I did this to keep my attention and to avoid crippling boredom. And it worked! I didn’t fill the notebook, but it was a worthy goal.

Here’s to another year at my job!
