Small Straws by Marsha Burns: This is a time to put things into perspective. Life is full of disappointments and tragedies, some more drastic than others, but still a part of living and growing. There are lessons to be learned and obstacles to overcome. These are times when you can strengthen your belief and lean on Me for wisdom and guidance, says the Lord. 

Romans 5:1-4 Therefore, having been justified by belief, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through Whom also we have access by belief into this favor in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope.

April 12, 2025. Fill your mind with good and good will come out. Consequently, fill your mind with bad and bad will come out. Be careful little ears and eyes what you listen to and see. These are gates into your soul. I want you to have holy gates…gates that allow My Kingdom to manifest in your life. Leave the world behind and walk in My righteousness, as your soul becomes holy.

April 12, 2025. I know it is difficult for you to acknowledge that the blood of My Son runs through your veins. That does not seem possible in your mind. But…I say to you that the blood of My Son acquitted you from the consequences of the sin that carries the penalty of eternal death and separation from Me. I know it is difficult for you to say, “I am righteous.” Allow Me to say that you have My righteousness.

April 12, 2012. (Reposted)  You are close to becoming discouraged. There is a reason for this. Many more problems have happened than you planned for, and now you are on the verge of being overwhelmed.  You knew to expect the unexpected, but much more unexpected happened than you imagined. You didn’t know how to do it all but figured you could handle the problems as they arose. There are a lot of problems, and now some strained relationships. The problems in procedures you can handle. But the relationships are going to be much more of a challenge. Slow yourself down. Meditate on My Word. Ask. Listen. Follow Me, and all will greatly succeed.

April 12, 2012.   (Reposted)      Wait patiently for Me. You are much like a child that wants immediate gratification. All too often many falter because they did not take full consideration the possible consequences that followed. Others have gone down the path of futility because they could not wait any longer to have their senses satisfied. The flesh is weak but the Spirit is willing. Lean on Me when you’re not strong for the stability you earnestly desire. Apply your belief when you have so many thoughts of indecision. Cease your thoughts of me, me, me. When you are weak, direct your thoughts toward the needs of others. Find ways to serve Me with gladness.

Isaiah 40:31 “But they that wait on God shall renew their strength; they shall put forth new feathers like eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk, and not hunger.”   Kevin Robinson 

April 12, 2012. (Reposted)  The path is ever upward and onward for the one who seeks to be wise. You will do well to see God’s wisdom about everything. The knowledge and understanding the world has to offer is foolishness to God. Those who seek after it will find disappointment and despair at the possession of their prize. Not so with you. Your quest in life has been to see as I see, do as I do and speak as I speak. Exchanging your life for the life of Jesus and then living it, gives you just about everything. Therefore, surrender your life and then give it away to others in need. This is wisdom that gains for you the whole world.
